Arctava is a boutique life sciences and pharmaceutical consulting firm. We partner with biopharma companies on Canadian commercialization across market access, brand, medical and operations, combining strategic advisory with hands-on execution as one fully integrated partner.

Between us, we spent decades inside Canadian affiliates — running launches, market access, medical and regulatory teams at the companies whose medicines fill Canadian pharmacies. And we kept watching promising medicines stall on the path to Canadian patients — not only because of the evidence itself, but because regulatory, access, pricing and commercialization requirements are complex and fragmented.

In 2025, Melanie Milburn founded Arctava to close that gap: hand-picked partners who had each done this work at the highest level, with every function — commercial, medical, regulatory, access, advocacy — under one roof, so decisions get made the way they do inside the best biopharma teams: together.

Our focus is mid-sized and emerging companies, and international biopharma entering or expanding in Canada without adding headcount. Big enough to have real complexity. Not so large that everything moves through committee.
